FREE Young Writers’ Workshops held at the Barnes & Noble, Bolingbrook (IL) Promenade
Meets Monthly, on the second Tuesday of each month: 6:30pm-7:30pm (No meetings in December)
Description:
Young Writers’ Group (for grades 3-8)
Do you dream of being an author? Join our FREE monthly Young Writers’ Group. Throw out the rules and write from your soul. Anything goes! Each month we use games and writing prompts to explore the writing craft. Share your stories, get inspired and learn to critique your work and others. Bring a notebook and pen.
*As part of the Frequent Writers’ Club, students receive a writing-related prize on their 4th consecutive visit!

Calling all Young Writers! A Week-Long Writing Studio
“It’s like summer camp for writers!”
Who: Any young writer entering grades 4-8
What: Learn creative writing techniques from an award- winning published writer in a fun workshop format
When: Monday, August 9 – Friday, August 13: 9:00 am –12:00 noon
Where: Courts of the Falling Waters Clubhouse ~ Downers Grove
(cross streets 75th St & Fairmount Avenue)
How: Email or Call to register. (min. 5/max. 15)
Tuition: (Last Year’s Rates!) $125, includes instruction, supplies and daily snacks
